In this video, we see how to reset the automatic transmission of an Opel Astra: we start by simply turning the ignition key to the second position, then we press the accelerator pedal fully for at least five seconds. After counting to five, we release the pedal and completely turn off the vehicle. At this point, we wait at least a couple of minutes, then we insert the key back into the ignition. Now the automatic transmission should be reset and working again. If this has not happened, it is suggested to repeat the entire procedure from the beginning.
