In this video, learn how to proceed if the Opel Grandland X no longer recognises the key: to start the vehicle in an emergency, there is a reading channel located on the opposite side of the start button, situated in the steering column. This is a channel where the key must be placed, allowing the vehicle to recognise the key by making contact with the emblem side against the column, in a sort of fitting.

Now, try pressing the start button, and the vehicle will recognise the remote, while also pressing the brake pedal. Next step: change the battery in the remote.
