Disassembling the airbag of the Opel Meriva model B is a very simple and quick operation to be carried out independently. We begin the disassembly by turning the steering wheel 180° and then continue the removal by inserting two flat-tipped screwdrivers into the holes on the sides of the steering wheel in order to move the internal levers and open the central body. Once the central body is extracted, disconnect the connector and remove the airbag completely. Before starting this process, it is advisable to disconnect the vehicle's battery in order to prevent the system from activating by moving the steering wheel or internal levers.
