In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the air conditioning console in the Opel Astra, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, then unclip both the panel at the bottom of the small lower glove compartment and the base of the gear lever gaiter.

Next, unscrew the screws that have just been released using a simple cross-tip screwdriver, remove the entire plastic frame, and, with a 7mm socket wrench, unscrew the fixing bolts of the console. At this point, all that remains is to install the replacement and reassemble everything.
