Learn how to remove and replace the diesel filter on an Opel Astra: lift the car on a column lift or suitable jack, locate the diesel filter as shown in the video. Use a spanner to unscrew the bolt that secures it (you can also use a socket). Once the filter is removed, take it out of the vehicle (replace it with a new filter). Finally, refit the filter to the associated housing (connect the pipes and wires) and tighten the appropriate bolts. Close the bonnet when finished.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
