Here’s how to remove and replace the fuel filter fitted on an Opel Astra: lift the car on a column lift (jack), locate the fuel filter (as shown in the video). Using a socket wrench, unscrew the fastening bolts near the container (disconnect the wires and various hoses from the filter) where the fuel filter is located.

Once the filter is removed, take it out of the vehicle (replace it with a new filter). Finally, reinstall the fuel filter in its housing (connect the hoses and wires) and tighten the appropriate bolts.

Close the front bonnet at the end.
