To replace the fuel filter on the Opel Astra J, access the components underneath the car near the fuel tank. Here, loosen the screw that secures the protective cover of the lower part of the filter, allowing excess fuel to drain into a suitably placed container.

Once the diesel has completely drained, extract the filter and replace it with a new spare part; ensure it is properly secured and close it with the corresponding cover.
