How to replace the steering head of an Opel Corsa D

In this video, we will see how to change the steering head of an Opel Corsa D: we need to lift the front part of the car and remove the wheels, so we can see the steering head, which we will unscrew with a 22 key; we make a mark between the tie rod and the steering head. Now we unlock the support bolt of the steering head with a 17 key, and then with a sharp blow of a hammer from below. We unscrew the steering head counting the number of turns we give to remove it; we will need it when we put the new one in its place. We remove the lock nut from the tie rod, and also make a mark on the new pieces. We grease the thread of the tie rod and place the new lock nut on it, then we reassemble the steering head, counting the number of turns and matching the mark; we grease the housing of the steering head and reposition it, tightening it with a 17 socket wrench, then tighten the lock nut between the two marks on the tie rod.
