Today we will see the main steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the cylinder head gasket of the Opel Corsa 1.0 gasoline engine. First of all, we open the hood of the car and disconnect the coolant pipes, then we remove the cylinder head cover and the engine support; we lift the car to remove the drive belt and the crankshaft pulley, then we remove the timing cover. At this point, we unscrew the cylinder head bolts to remove it, also removing the camshaft (after disconnecting the engine timing); we proceed with the replacement of the cylinder head gasket.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
