How do you reset the service light on the Opel Meriva?

Model: Vauxhall Meriva MK 2, Meriva B - Years 2010-2017

To make the Service light disappear from the instrument panel of the Opel Meriva, you will need to turn on the instrument panel so that you can navigate through the menu using the arrows on the lever located on the left side of the steering wheel: you will need to find the option with the oil icon and its percentage of remaining life. When this option is displayed on the instrument panel, you will need to hold down the SET/CLR button located at the end of the lever: after waiting a few seconds, the remaining life of the oil will be reset and you will be able to verify that the Service light will completely disappear from the display.
