How to remove the thermostat valve from your car? Follow this guide to remove the coolant thermostat on an Opel Agila: unscrew the bolts of the thermostat hose as shown in the video and (use a socket and the appropriate sockets) pull out the sealing cap from the housing. Extract the coolant thermostat (let the fluid drain into a container; insert the new part and refit the cap of the hose. Tighten the bolts properly, and you're done. Ensure that you have correctly inserted and mounted the valve in the appropriate housing.
