How do you replace the key fob cover of an Opel Astra? Follow these steps: take your key fob and press the button to release the metal key; once extracted, use a screwdriver to pry between the two key fob covers, applying leverage until they separate. Remove the battery (replace it if flat) using a screwdriver. Assemble the two parts of the new cover with the buttons by pressing on the key fob until you hear a click. Finally, close the metal key back into the fob. Check that the fob functions correctly.
