Below you will find the description of the steps you need to follow if you intend to replace the button cell battery inside the remote control of your Opel Astra K by yourself. First of all, purchase a new CR2025 battery and then take the car remote and press the metal button to release the physical emergency key. Once you have done this, remove the back protective cover and take out the old battery. Finally, replace it with the new battery and then reassemble the back protective cover correctly.
