How do you reset the Service light on the Opel Meriva?

Model: Vauxhall Meriva MK 2, Meriva B - Years 2010-2017

It will be possible to make the Service light disappear completely from the instrument panel of the Opel Meriva by turning on the instrument panel, so that it is possible to navigate through the menu using the arrows on the lever on the left side of the steering wheel: you will need to find the option with the oil icon and the corresponding percentage of remaining life. Once this option is displayed on the instrument panel, you will need to hold down the SET/CLR button located at the end of the lever: after waiting a few seconds, the remaining oil life will be reset and you can verify that the Service light will disappear completely from the panel.
