How to make a spy for the regeneration of the DPF on an Opel Astra J

In this, which is not a real video but a sequence of slides, we see how to make a DIY indicator that signals the moment when we need to regenerate the particulate filter on our Opel Astra J, which otherwise would not be able to signal to us. First, we need to lift the channel from the driver's side and locate the brown/purple wire; turn on the defroster and we will discover that the wire carries voltage. Take the positive from the brown/purple wire and the negative from a grounding bolt. Get a small 12-volt LED and choose a visible spot to place it: during regeneration, the LED will power the defroster and consequently indicate that the process is in progress.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
