How to remove the spark plugs from your Opel Astra? Here’s how to do it. Pull the lever to open the bonnet and lift the front hood, securing it. Remove the plastic cover from the soundproofing panel that covers the engine, then unscrew the pins on the coil bar with a screwdriver. Disconnect the coils by hand after disconnecting the power connector; use a socket wrench to unscrew the spark plugs and pull them out of the cylinder head. Take the new spark plugs and guide them with the socket extension into the cylinder head, tighten them, and reconnect the respective power connectors.
