After performing a service, you can manually reset the maintenance from the car's onboard computer. First, press the "menu" button located on the indicator stalk to the left of the steering wheel.

By pressing the "menu" button multiple times, you can scroll through the three highlighted icons at the top of the display on the instrument panel. Stop on the central icon "car mode" and scroll through the various settings using the arrows on the left side of the "menu" button.

In the drop-down menu of car mode, you will find the setting "oil life remaining". Press the confirmation button "set/clr" located at the end of the indicator stalk and confirm by selecting "yes" to reset the setting.

How to Reset the Tire Pressure Light on a MG ZS?

On the instrument cluster of the MG ZS, the tire pressure light that appears can be reset by inflating the tires to the correct pressure: this value will be indicated on the sticker attached to the driver's door pillar. Once the tires have been properly inflated, you can turn on the instrument cluster and navigate through the menu until you find the option that indicates tire pressure: if this screen shows the new values, the light will turn off; otherwise, you will need to drive for a few miles so that the sensors can read the new values and turn off the light afterward.
