How to Replace the Fuel Filter on the Opel Zafira

Model: Vauxhall Zafira Zafira A, MK 1, T98 - Years 1999-2005

Today, you will learn how to replace the fuel filter on the Opel Zafira model A. Open the front bonnet and place a cover along the front bumper to prevent scratches during the filter replacement. Remove the seal from the bonnet grille and the top part of the access panel. Clean the fasteners of the lower part of the access panel and unscrew the fasteners of the lower part of the access panel. Use a 10mm socket and ratchet to remove the lower part of the access panel. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor connector, clean the filter housing with a multi-purpose cleaner, and unscrew the fastening devices of the fuel filter housing cover using a T30 key and ratchet. Remove the cover of the fuel filter housing and take out the filter and the old sealing ring. Insert the old filter cartridge into the container, place the new filter and the new sealing ring. Refit the fuel filter cap, clean the mounting bracket of the filter, and screw in the fastening devices of the filter cover. Reconnect the sensor connector and install the lower part of the access panel, screwing in the panel fasteners. Screw in the fasteners of the upper part of the panel. Remove the cover and close the bonnet.
