Today, you will see how to replace the engine oil and oil filter on an Opel Corsa model D. Open the front bonnet and lift the oil dipstick, then remove the cap from the oil reservoir; before performing the oil change, it is important to pour a pre-change fluid into the reservoir so that all oil residues can be removed. After the necessary time for the pre-change fluid to work, raise the vehicle on axle stands and unscrew the nut from the oil sump to let the used oil drain into a container. When the oil has finished draining, close the nut of the oil sump and lower the vehicle to pour the new engine oil into the oil reservoir. Before pouring the oil, use a 13 mm spanner to unscrew the nut from the filter cover to remove and replace it.
