Today, you will learn how to replace the engine oil and the oil filter while performing the regular maintenance service on an Opel Corsa D. First, lift the vehicle to drain the engine oil; to do this, unscrew the drain plug found on the oil sump and let it drain into a container for about ten minutes.

Next, proceed with the oil filter replacement; disconnect the intake hose and, using a T20 Torx key and a 10 mm spanner, unscrew the screws of the filter cover.

Finally, remove the oil filter using a socket wrench with an extension!
