How to Reset the Service Light on an Opel Signum

Here’s how to reset the service light on an Opel Signum; the same procedure also applies to Astra and Vectra. Insert the key into the ignition without turning on the ignition. Press the "reset" button located on the dashboard, or at the end of the light indicator (depending on the version) while simultaneously pressing the brake pedal. Turn on the ignition and continue to hold the button and the pedal for 5-6 seconds. After this time, the display on the onboard computer will show the message "reset engine oil" and then the mileage remaining until the next service. At this point, you can release, and the operation is complete.
