How to Enable and Disable the Auto Store Function in an Opel Astra H

First, let's see what the "auto store" function does. It is a convenience feature that automatically scans all available radio frequencies in the area you are travelling through and saves the stations with the strongest signal; a sort of "smart memorisation". It activates by pressing the "AS" button; it scans the entire radio band you are tuned to and selects the stations with the clearest signal, saving them to the quick access buttons. It is the fastest way to have a selection of listenable stations when travelling in a new area, saving you from having to search for them manually. To activate the function, press the "AS" button briefly; to start a new search, you must hold down the "AS" button.
