Video tutorial

This time, we will see how to install a dashcam in an Opel Crossland X. The video shows the main components of the dashcam, which are common to all cameras. Ideally, the dashcam should be powered by the battery rather than running wires to the cigarette lighter.

The quickest way to proceed is to run the wire from the roof and down the pillar to the glove compartment where the electrical connections are located. Check the vehicle's wiring diagram and connect the ground.

Once this is done, when you start the car, the dashcam will automatically power on.
