How to reset the service light on the Opel/Vauxhall Insignia B

Let's see how to reset the service light on the Opel Insignia B: turn on the ignition, use the buttons located on the right side of the steering wheel to navigate the display menu: go to the 'info' menu and scroll until you find the 'maintenance' option. Press and hold the 'OK' (or 'SET') button for 5 to 10 seconds. A question will appear: reset? Confirm with 'OK', turn off the ignition, and turn it back on after a moment to check. If it does not work, you can always try the old pedal method; turn on the ignition, press the accelerator pedal fully, then the brake pedal and hold both for 10 to 15 seconds. Release the accelerator first and then the brake. Turn off the ignition, then turn it back on and check.
