How to Change the Engine Oil and Filter in an Opel Combo

To change the engine oil and filter in an Opel Combo, park the vehicle on a level surface and wait for the engine to warm up. Safely lift the vehicle and place a container under the oil sump. Open the bonnet and unscrew the oil filler cap, then remove the drain plug located at the bottom of the engine to allow the complete drainage of the used lubricant. Once draining is complete, reinstall the drain plug, ensuring the seal is in good condition. Next, remove the old oil filter and clean the mounting surface thoroughly. Fit the new filter after lightly lubricating the seal with clean oil. Pour the new engine oil through the filler neck, adhering to the specified quantity for the installed engine. Check the level with the dipstick and add oil if necessary. Finally, start the engine for a few seconds, turn it off, and check for leaks before performing a final level check.
