How do you replace the remote key battery of an Opel Meriva? Follow this guide. Take your remote key; use a screwdriver to pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover. Pry until the cap separates from the cover. Remove the worn battery with a screwdriver. Get a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the plastic cover on your remote (pressing on the key cover) until you hear it click into place. Check that the remote key functions correctly.
