How to Replace the Gear Knob on the Opel Meriva

Model: Vauxhall Meriva MK 2, Meriva B - Years 2010-2017

Today, you will learn how to replace the gear knob on the Opel Meriva. To perform this operation, first remove the rigid lower part of the gear gaiter. You can lift the rigid part using a flathead screwdriver or by opening the gaiter and gently trying to pull it out. Once the gaiter is lifted, unscrew the metal clamp at the base of the knob. After removing the clamp, pull the knob upwards. Insert the new knob into the gear mechanism and secure it to the base using a new clamp. Refit the gear gaiter over the rigid metal part and insert it back into the centre console.
