How to Change the Engine Oil Filter on an Opel Agila?

To change the engine oil filter on an Opel Agila, open the bonnet and remove the engine cover if present. Unscrew the oil filler cap, then lift the vehicle and secure it safely. Place a container under the oil sump and unscrew the drain plug with a T45 Torx key. Allow the used oil to drain completely. Then, locate the filter housing and, if necessary, remove the intake hose and the corresponding cover to access the cap. Unscrew the filter cap and remove it along with the old cartridge. Remove the filter from the cap, replace the O-ring, and install the new cartridge in the correct position. Refit the cap and tighten it to the specified torque. Replace the drain plug with the corresponding gasket, lower the vehicle, and pour new oil through the filler neck. Check the level with the dipstick and top up if necessary.
