To reset the service light on a first-generation Opel Vivaro, you must first complete the scheduled maintenance. One of the procedures involves inserting the key into the ignition and fully pressing the accelerator pedal.

While holding it down, turn the key to position two, turning on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Next, press the brake pedal three times in quick succession while continuing to hold the accelerator.

After the sequence, turn off the cluster and release the pedals. By turning the instrument cluster back on, you can check if the reset was successful.

On some versions, the maintenance reminder is reset using the button located at the end of the wiper lever, following the instructions on the display.
