How to replace the switch located in the tailgate of an Opel Meriva? In this video, see how to disassemble it. Open and lift the tailgate of your car, use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing screws in the plastic panel (where the handles are and around the perimeter). Remove the plastic from the tailgate of the boot (use a plastic lever), disconnect any power connectors. Remove the faulty switch and install a new one. Proceed in reverse order for reassembling the plastics and associated parts.
