How to Reset the Service on the Opel Meriva A?

Resetting the service on the Opel Meriva A, the first model produced between 2003 and 2010, is done through the odometer button. This is located on the dashboard, to the bottom right of the speedometer. How is it used to perform the reset? It's very simple. Hold it down and turn the key to switch on the instrument panel. Remember that the engine must remain off for the duration of the operation. Continue to hold the button down until four dashes are displayed, wait another ten seconds, then finally release the button and switch off the panel.
