Replacing the Mirror on an Opel Astra

Replace the mirror mounted in the external mirror of an Opel Astra. Use a plastic-coated lever to pry between the edge of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Pry until the mirror detaches from the mirror housing (disconnect the power cable); this is a delicate operation as the mirror may break. Press on the locking clips to disconnect the mirror cover, then replace the damaged part with the new one. Ensure the plastic snap clips engage properly.
