Removing the Gear Knob on Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006

Is the gear knob gaiter torn and do you want to replace it? Here’s how to replace it from the gear stick. First, disconnect the leather gaiter frame using a plastic lever (disconnect any power connectors), then unclip the locking strap. Grip the gaiter and pull it off the stick. Fit the new leather gaiter with the plastic strap, then push it onto the stick in the centre console all the way down. Secure the gaiter with the plastic frame (where the locking plastics are located). If the knob is damaged, replace it from the gear stick.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
