Removing the EGR Valve on Opel Corsa

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa D - Years 2006-2014

If you have issues with the EGR valve, it is best to remove and replace it. Lift the bonnet and secure it. Using a screwdriver, undo the securing bolts of the valve (disconnect the various pipes and electrical cables). Once the part is removed from its seat, use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws if you need to clean it. Start cleaning the valve with a suitable mechanical parts cleaner, using a brush to assist with the process. Refit the EGR valve in the engine bay after cleaning it of any dirt and deposits. Reconnect the various wiring in the engine bay and tighten the securing screws.
