Replacement of Cooling Water Thermostat

Model: Vauxhall Vectra Vectra B, MK 2 - Years 1995-2002
Part: Thermostat

Open the bonnet and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for safety. Open the cap of the radiator expansion tank. Locate the thermostat and disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the various water hoses to access the thermostat and proceed with its removal. The thermostat is located on an aluminium elbow that must be removed and cleaned. Install the new thermostat and reassemble the various components previously removed. Reconnect the connector and top up the coolant. Test to ensure the new thermostat opens correctly.
