Checking the oil level in the engine sump should be done at every fuel refill. This operation is very simple and takes only a few moments.

Wait a few minutes after turning off the engine, then pull out the dipstick and clean it with a clean cloth. Reinsert the dipstick into the engine and pull it out again.

Check the correct oil level on the end of the dipstick. If the level is too low, top up with the appropriate oil. Excessive oil consumption, often noticeable from thick smoke from the exhaust, may indicate a serious engine malfunction.

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Kia Niro EV, inflate the tyres until they reach the correct pressure value. This value is indicated on the sticker attached to the driver's door pillar. Once the tyres are inflated, turn on the instrument cluster to check that the warning light has completely disappeared from the display. If it is still present, you may need to drive for a few miles to ensure it disappears completely from the screen.
