How to Check and Top Up Fluid Levels in an Opel Corsa D

This video tutorial demonstrates how to check and top up fluid levels in an Opel Corsa D, following some simple steps: checking fluid levels helps avoid or prevent costly repairs. First, purchase a pack of coolant, a pack of windscreen washer fluid, a pack of engine oil, and a pack of brake fluid from an authorised dealer (it is preferable to choose small packs to store in the boot). Fluid checks should be performed with the engine off and the car on the ground. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Remove the oil dipstick and wipe it with absorbent paper, then reinsert it and check the oil level. If the level is low, open the oil filler cap and top up the oil, then reinsert the dipstick and check if the oil has reached the correct level. To check the coolant level, open the expansion tank cap and if the level is low, top up the coolant to the maximum level without exceeding the maximum indicated. To top up the brake fluid, if the level is low (the cause may be worn brake pads), add brake fluid. Also, check the windscreen washer fluid level and add washer fluid if necessary, as maintaining good visibility is essential for safe driving.
