Replacing the Air Compressor on an Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010
Part: Air conditioning

Remove the air compressor if damaged. Open and lift the front bonnet, then disconnect the battery terminals. Remove the engine cover panel. Locate the air compressor and disconnect the electrical terminals attached to it. Use a socket spanner to undo the securing bolts of the air compressor and remove it from the engine bay. Install the new part, connecting the power terminals and securing it with the associated bolts. Test the operation of the air conditioning.
