How to remove the air conditioning compressor on Opel Astra. Open the bonnet and secure it. Then, unscrew the screws and remove the air kit. Using a suitable socket spanner, remove the plates that secure the radiator at the top. If necessary, lift the car on a column lift. Remove the horizontal pipes connected to the radiator (using pliers for assistance). Next, use a spanner to unscrew the large hose from the top of the car. Once free from screws and pipes, you can work on removing the air conditioning compressor in the engine bay. Unscrew the bolts in the engine bay to free the air conditioning compressor, then remove it along with the attached belt. Compare it with the new one and check for proper operation. Prepare to fit the new part in the engine bay with all the necessary components.
