How to Reset the Spanner Light on an Opel Meriva

The procedure to reset the spanner light on an Opel Meriva is relatively simple. You won't need any special tools or equipment, as the onboard computer will allow you to do everything independently. However, before resetting the light, you must check the vehicle's handbook for the problem that caused it to illuminate and resolve it. After doing this, you can proceed with the reset, which is done using the only button present on the vehicle's dashboard. Simply hold down the button while pressing the brake pedal and simultaneously turn on the ignition. The display should start flashing the "INSP" message until it turns off, and the spanner light will be reset. To check that everything has gone well, turn off and restart the ignition and observe that the light has turned off.
