Cruise Control Installation

All Opel Astra H models are pre-equipped for cruise control installation: simply install the stalk switch with the activation button and then configure it using the diagnostic tool. Installing the stalk switch is extremely simple: pull out the old one by widening the retaining tab with a very small screwdriver, and insert the new one ensuring it clicks into place correctly. Once the installation is complete, connect the diagnostic tool interface to the OBD port and proceed with the configuration starting from the model selection (Astra H in this case); enter the engine section (ENGINE) and select the engine code (indicated on P5 of the registration document); then enter the configuration menu (PROGRAM VARIANT CONFIGURATION), input the CAR PASS code, and activate the cruise control function (changing from NOT PRESENT to PRESENT). Repeat the same operation in the CIM module.
