In this video, see how to disassemble and replace the key shell on an Opel Astra J. First, take your remote control and lever the sides to open it into two parts; then remove the rear cover and extract the pin and the key, along with the electronic board, as shown in the video.

Next, transfer everything to the new key shell; insert the key first, followed by the electronic board and the battery inside it. Finally, reassemble the cover and fully close the shell, as illustrated in the video!
