How to Open a Stuck Boot on Opel Corsa

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa D - Years 2006-2014

When the tailgate does not make contact and won't open from the outside, access the inside of the boot by folding down the rear seats. Inside the tailgate, there are two handles with a hex screw on each, which you need to unscrew. Once done, you can remove the tailgate panel because, after removing the two screws, it is only held in place by clips. Unscrew the two screws of the switch, then exit the cabin. Disconnect the connector as shown in the video and open the housing of the external switch with a screwdriver and replace it (also do a bit of cleaning). Reconnect the connector, refit the panel, and you're done.
