This video shows you how to remove and replace the fuel pump on an Opel Astra G Ecotec, following these simple steps. First, open the rear doors and proceed to remove the rear seat by lifting it upwards; once removed, you can take off the plastic cover of the fuel pump to access it. At this point, disconnect the fuel pipe, absorbing any liquid contained in the pipe with a cloth, and disconnect the electrical connector for the fuel level sensor; all that's left is to unscrew the pump retaining ring to extract it and replace it with the new one.
