How to replace the number plate bulbs on an Opel Meriva? Let's look at removing the number plate lights. Remove the number plate light from the rear bumper of the car using a plastic lever. Once the light is removed, extract the bulb holder, then disconnect the bulb from it. Fit the new LED bulb (same size and voltage) into the bulb holder. Reattach the light into the metal of the tailgate, pressing it in until the clips lock automatically. Turn on the dashboard and test the operation of the new bulbs.
