Hello everyone! If you drive an Opel Mokka, you will unfortunately have a high chance of encountering alarm signal 89 upon ignition, and when this happens, you will wonder what is wrong with your car, especially since you will not have any malfunction signals. Resetting or having the car reset will unfortunately not help, but rest assured, the car has no serious problems. It is merely a factory electrical error that will only present itself when the engine is cold. Sometimes, simply removing and reinserting the key will make the alarm disappear, but if you want to resolve the issue once and for all, you will need to replace the EXHAUST TEMPERATURE SENSOR.
