Replacing the key battery on an Opel Meriva A is really simple, and now you will see how. Insert a small flat-head screwdriver into the rear slot of the remote and pry it apart, separating the key from the casing. At this point, using the flat-head screwdriver again, pry in the middle slot to open the casing into two parts. Once you reach this point, it will be easy to extract the battery, perhaps using the flat-head screwdriver again, and insert the new one you purchased. Reassemble the remote by reversing the steps, and you're done. Cheers!
