Replacing the Clutch on Opel Zafira

Model: Vauxhall Zafira Zafira C, MK 3 - Years 2011-2019

Loosen the bolts of the front wheels, lift the bonnet (this will be needed later), and raise the car on a ramp if possible. Remove the front wheels. To remove the front shock absorbers, you will need to unscrew all bolts and pins on the hub carrier, then remove the lower arm ball joint. At this point, remove the steering rack ball joint. For safety, disconnect the starter motor and the positive terminal of the battery. Drain the used oil from the gearbox by freeing the lower drain hole, then remove the drive shafts by unscrewing the pins that hold them to the gearbox. Disconnect the gear lever and the clutch cable. Now, an assistant will need to support the gearbox while you remove the nuts that connect the gearbox bell housing to the engine. Disconnect the clutch disc and the pressure plate. Install the new clutch.
