Removing Radio from Opel Astra J

Want to remove the radio from an Opel Astra for replacement? Let's look at removing the radio from the Astra. Remove the trim around the radio using a plastic lever: detach it from the centre console along with the trim around the gear knob. Once the radio is free of trim, use a screwdriver to remove the screws on the sides. Pull the front of the radio out by hand and disconnect the cables (power and antenna). Remove the rear part of the radio. To reinstall, reverse the disassembly steps. Install a radio of the same type and size.
