How to Replace the Battery in the Opel Astra Remote

Do you want to replace the battery in the Opel Astra key? Let’s see how to replace the discharged battery inside. Press the release button of the metal key; once the metal key is out, use a screwdriver to pry between the two covers of the key (in the space where the metal key fits). Pry until the cover comes off, then extract the worn battery with a small screwdriver, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Mount the small circuit board onto the same cover or replace it with a new one. Press on the key case until you hear it click into place. Use the same battery as the one removed previously.
